Events Manager
We are currently recruiting for a talented Events Manager to join the Virginia Park Lodge team.
This role will support the Food & Beverage Department in delivering an excellent dining experience at Virginia Park Lodge.
The role involves supervising banqueting, meeting rooms and breakfast service, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all event operations.
Location: Virginia Park Lodge, Virginia, Co. Cavan, Ireland
Salary: €36,605 - €39,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong visible presence within the Food & Beverage department, providing active supervision and support
- Ensure all team members are fully trained to deliver professional, efficient service and a warm welcome to guests
- Maintain consistently high service standards across all Food & Beverage areas
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and operational issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating to senior management where appropriate
- Promote a strong sales culture by actively encouraging upselling and revenue opportunities
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout all Food & Beverage areas
- Liaise effectively with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of events and services
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
- Carry out any additional duties relevant to the role as required by the company

Chef de Partie
We are currently recruiting for a talented Chef de Partie to support the Food & Beverage Department in delivering an excellent dining experience at Virginia Park Lodge. The Chef de Partie will report directly to the Head Chef and work as part of the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and service standards at Virginia Park Lodge.
Location: Virginia Park Lodge, Virginia, Co. Cavan, Ireland
Salary: €36,605 per annum, based on a 39-hour working week
Requirements:
- Assisting with managing the production of food to our company standards.
- Assisting with the creation of imaginative menus
- Assisting with measures in place for achieving gross margins on food sales and controlling relevant staff costs
- Implementing, monitoring and complying with food hygiene and HACCP procedures
- Implementing, monitoring and complying with Health & Safety Procedures
- Ensuring quality control procedures are implemented and adhered to
- Stock rotation, ordering & recording as required
- Assisting with the management and supervision of kitchen brigade team.
- Assisting with training of kitchen team
- Maintaining a professional attitude, attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and personal hygiene
