Food & Beverage Supervisor
We are currently recruiting for a talented Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the Food & Beverage Department in delivering an excellent dining experience at Virginia Park Lodge.
The role involves supervising banqueting, meeting rooms and breakfast service, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all Food & Beverage operations.
Location: Virginia Park Lodge, Virginia, Co. Cavan, Ireland
Salary: €36,605 - €39,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong visible presence within the Food & Beverage department, providing active supervision and support
- Ensure all team members are fully trained to deliver professional, efficient service and a warm welcome to guests
- Maintain consistently high service standards across all Food & Beverage areas
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and operational issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating to senior management where appropriate
- Promote a strong sales culture by actively encouraging upselling and revenue opportunities
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout all Food & Beverage areas
- Liaise effectively with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of events and services
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
- Carry out any additional duties relevant to the role as required by the company

Chef de Partie
The Chef de Partie will report directly to the Head Chef and work as part of the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and service standards at Virginia Park Lodge.
Location: Virginia Park Lodge, Virginia, Co. Cavan, Ireland
Salary: €36,605 per annum, based on a 39-hour working week
Requirements:
- Positive attitude with excellent communication skills and fluent English
- Flexibility to work early and late shifts, including midweek and weekends
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a restaurant, hotel, or events venue
- Well organised with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with a commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing food production in line with company standards
- Support the creation of imaginative and seasonal menus
- Assist in achieving food gross margin targets and controlling relevant staffing costs
- Implement, monitor, and comply with food hygiene and HACCP procedures
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures
- Maintain high standards of quality control across all kitchen operations
- Carry out stock rotation, ordering, and stock recording as required
- Assist in the supervision and management of the kitchen brigade
- Support the training and development of kitchen team members
- Maintain a professional attitude, punctuality, attendance, personal appearance, and hygiene at all times
